Literally? It's a big jelly donut that's fried in pure lard instead of the usual oil.

Paczki's (pronounced poonch-key) are a traditional Polish pastry that are eaten on Fat Tuesday, which is the day before Ash Wednesday, which for Christians marks the beginning of Lent

Oh, and if you like donuts....they're yummy!

MM4, you live in Dominican Replubic right? I'm going on vacation there for a week at the end of the month for a week (in punta cana if i'm not mistaking, it's my gf who booked evertything)
